Judith Robinson studied History of Art and German at University College, London and Salzburg University, majoring in British and German Romanticism. A member of the Museums Association, she has 20 years experience as a curator of fine and applied arts collections in the public gallery sector, principally at the Usher Gallery, Lincoln. Exhibitions curated include national and international touring shows in UK, Germany and Baltic States. She was a Committee member of Touring Exhibitions Group 1986-92. She co-curated site specific projects including ‘The Journey’, a search for the role of the artist in religious and spiritual life across Lincoln Diocese in 1990, and ‘Location/Poetry of Place’ in 1997. Researched publication on the Duncan Grant Murals in Lincoln Cathedral (2001) and numerous exhibition catalogues .Board member of the St Hugh's Foundation, Artlink East and Usher Trust. Visual Arts and Media Officer with South West Arts 2000 - 2003. Currently Visual Arts Officer at Arts Council England, South West with lead responsibility for development of visual arts sector for Cornwall and Bath and North East Somerset.
